Q: odd periods after sex

Hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone would have any insight for my situation...

My girlfriend of 3 years and I have been regularly having sex. She is on the pill and I use a condom, with one exception 2 months ago, where we started without a condom, but decided better of it and finished with one.

Since that time, she had one totally normal period. Last month she had either a really light period or only spotting. Now, it's about that time for her next period and shes really paranoid. It should also be noted that she was moving around the time of her last period (so she was really stressed trying to tie up the loose ends), and this week she has finals.

Because she has finals, she doesn't want to take a test right now, but I'm afraid all the stress shes putting on herself will only guarantee another late/abnormal/missed period. Like I said, any insight would be a big help.

If you were using both condoms and birth control, there is a very very very low chance that she is pregnant. Even if you were just using the pill alone, there is still only a 1% chance she would become pregnant over the course of a full year! Once she takes a test and sees a negative or once her period arrives, I'm sure the stress level will go down a lot. I would not worry though, because chances of her falling pregnant are extremely low.
