This could go in 2 categories, I thought it fit best in here. Apologies for all the text, but I need help without being able to talk directly to a doctor/nurse.

I'm 13 years old, and I have many symptoms of OCD (every online test says I have it). I noticed a few nights ago that I could see the top of my epiglottis by flattening my tongue and looking down my throat. I looked up "epiglottis visible" and it seems to be a normal condition.

I don't notice it that much when I first get up in the morning, but when I start thinking about it, my anxiety kicks in. It feels like something's stuck in my throat constantly and like I have to get a drink of water almost all the time. I also get heavy breathing, but I'm getting enough oxygen anyway, so sometimes I feel like I'm hyperventilating. I've been close to having a few panic attacks, so obviously my brain doesn't think it's normal. This is really starting to get to me.

Now here's the REAL problem: I can't see a doctor for a few days. My parents won't book an appointment. I'm seeing an allergist on Wednesday, so he can probably look at it then, but what should I do until then? I don't have meds for anxiety, so it'll probably ruin the trip anyway. How can I keep my mind from returning to it all the time?
