Hi,

Just thought tha I'd share...I've been waiting on my free Nuvaring Electronic timer for almost 6 months now. I ordered from their website & it said to wait 6 - 8weeks. I did so & never received. Called & was told to reorder. Again, I did & never received. When I went back to Nuvaring site they no longer have the electronic hourglass timer available. Only a download to your computer that doesn't work right.

Anyway, I was determined to find one. So I finally did on Ebay. Yes I ended up paying for it, but its been a lifesaver. From what I understand that the company isn't going to be providing these anymore.

So go get 'em if you need 'em. I love the Nuvaring, but it's almost too worryfree & I had a hard time keeping track of when to insert & remove. This really helps.

Can't you also program a reminder into a Google calendar or similar software? There are definitely FREE software reminders out there...but thanks for sharing the idea.

Yes, I think that's the one from their website that I mentioned. All I know is that it has had it's share of problems & often resets the time schedule when you turn your computer on/off.

Personal opinion, but I'd rather be certain with something tangible that I can see & feel - if not only for a back-up. To me the alternative of messing up the insertion/removal schedule & possible pregnancy is too high of a cost comparatively.
