A few weeks ago I forgot to put my Nuvaring back in after sex and it was out overnight. I did not use a back up method of birth control after that because I did not realize I needed to. I am due to take out the ring this sunday. This past week though I have been feeling extremely exhausted and naseaus. Today I took a pregnancy test and the results were negative. What I am curious about is the test says you can take it up to 5 days before your missed period. But generally when I take out the nuvaring, I do not start it for another 3-4 days. So I dont know if the 5 days beforehand is considered from the point I take the ring out or from when I actually start my period. I would just like to know as soon as possible what is going on.
