My fiance and I have a dilemma. Her period has a good chance of falling on our wedding day & honeymoon!

He period ended last weekend. Shes getting her prescription for NR on Friday. We're going to ask this same thing to her Dr as well but just getting an idea of what we're in for.

Can she insert the NRing as soon as she gets it and take it out the week after the honeymoon? In essence, to delay it.

We will still be using condoms, her period is concerning us more at this point. All the NR documentation says "Insert Day 1 to Day 5"... can't find anything else.

Thanks

generally when you START birth control there is spotting for the first month..thats the way it was for me but I'm on the pill not the ring, it was a pain, also..usually a woman's first attempt to skip their period w/birth control is unsuccessful, or so i'm told...usually it takes a month or 2 for the body to adjust to the horomones before a period can be successfully skipped on purpose..hope this helped
