Hello my name is Lorraine and I am new to the NuvaRing and have been on it for almost 3 weeks. August 5th will be three weeks for me. I have had my period this whole time since I stuck it up there. I am not having any stomach problems but I am concern that my period has been on for so long. I did not see any blood clots of any sort but my birthday is coming up and I would like to know what should I do? Is this normal or should I pull it out and try a new method? I am running through packs of pads like crazy and I am getting scared. its not like it leaks on the pad everyday but when I wipe myself it is a very deep red color and has sort of a smell. I will soak and bathe but my period will just come down after as the normal bright red coloring. Please help me
