I have just started using the Nuva Ring
and I haven't had any hair loss or any
weight gain but I have been having
abdominal pain on my sides and pain in my
lower back. Is this normal? Should I take
it out?

I don't think it's really normal.
I also don't think it's necessarily
related to nuvaring- does it feel like
period cramps? Have you had any bladder
infections or UTI's (or std's of any
kind)?

No I do not have a UTI and No I have never
and do not have any sort of STD. I did
take it out about a week after I put it in
because I did not like the idea of
something plastic inside me but I started
bleeding 2 days after I took it out and I
don't know if that is normal or not. I
called my doctor but nobody has gotten
back to me yet. There were like little
chunks of blood that came out as well when
I would go to the bathroom. That sounds
gross I know but I don't know how else to
explain it.
