Q: Nuva Ring fell out

I just started my nuva ring about a month ago, although I think it fell out yesterday. I now am cramping and spotting a little, leading me to believe that my period will come tomorrow. I am not supposed to get it for another week or so. I was wondering, can I call my doctor tomorrow to get a replacement and put it back in tomorrow morning? My question is will it end my period and if I do put another one in is that okay? Thanks!!
