I have been using NuvaRing since October 2007. It was the most successful way to regulate my period, after using pills and Mirena, which fell out after 8 months. I have mulitiple fibroids, the bigest one is measuring 4.6cm and did not grow up since 2 years. My uterus is bulky according to USG test, the endometrium is thin(January2009, good resuls from July 2008 pop test. I have been using NR on 21/7 base and it worked perfect for me. Last month, 2 weeks after I insterted a new NR I started bleeding (it was 20th day of my cycle) it was not a full period howevere more than a spotting. This light bleeding took me to the third week with NR, when I took it out(always Sundays) After I took it out, my bleeding stoped for 4 days and I got my period on Thursday, with a big blast on Friday. I still had my period on Sunday morning when I had to insert a new NR. I had an impression that I did shed all the blood I was supposed to. So, the new NR is in my vagina on April 5th, two weeks later, on April 20th I started spotting again and today April 22 ( Wednesday) I am having more than a spotting, it is bleeding. I still want to keep NR until coming Sunday, when I am supposed to take it out. But I don\'t know if this is normal or not. As I said before I have a feeling that all my menstruated blood is not shed because there is not enough time to do in the week free of NR. During the free week I thing my period comes to late, instead of coming on Tuesday, or WEdnesday,as it did before, the full blast comes on Friday now, and then I only have Saturday to be finished, but it is not. Could you please tell me if this is something I should worry about. I talked to the farmacist, and he said that it is normal. I dont have a GN at the moment, I am register to see on on June 3rd. Is it safe to see him in 6 weeks?
Beside that I have to admit, that I am also following a naturopath treatment for my faibroids, and in the last to months, right after my period is finished, it means the Sunday when I insert a new NR, I started to use hot compresses of sweeden herbs every nigth, (one hour each evening) Do you think it is because of the heat my period is coming earlier than it supposed to? Any suggestions that you may have will help me to make rigt decisions. I am very stressed out about it. I stopped using the compresses since Monday, when I started spotting.

I forgot to ad that 4 weeks ago I was taking an antybiotic prescribed for my throat infection ( I started it on 25 of March for ten days.
