I think that there is a possibility that I may be pregnant with my 3rd child. I am still nursing my 8 month old daughter and was wondering how I would know when I concieved if I have not had a menstrual cycle. Would I just have to wait for the doctor to do an ultrasound to find out?

Well, I would definitely go and see your doctor, as I was in the same vote like you, I finished nursing my second and I just knew I was pregnant with my 3rd.

Every one is different but it had happened with me.

In my case I went to the doctors two weeks after, he wanted to put me on the pill, I said no I would like a pregnancy test first, he doubted that I was pregnant...

I went to see another doctor and sure enough I was right. I was told that nursing alone for some women is not enough and she advises woman to take the mini pill while nursing.

So any thing is possible, seek medical advice...

wish you well

I AM on the mini pill, but there have been a couple of times that i have missed because my stupid pharmacy didn't have the pill when I needed a refill and didn't tell me until I went to get it.

Actually, that was one of the times that I had a problem. I was switching and they were out too! I haven't had alot of luck in that department Sad
It wouldn't be the end of the world if I were pregnant. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were a way to tell when conception occured.
