Q: Numerous abdominal hernia repairs

I have had several hernia repairs following surgery for heartburn surgery. My stomach is extremely hard and round and looks as if I'm pregnant (not).
Is this normal, considering I have so much mesh?
The last doctor I saw, had me cough and didn't feel anything. When trying to sit up, It felt as if it was popping out. It just doesnt feel right! I just don't know what to do anymore.

Any suggestions???
