Q: numbness

I wake several times a night with numbness in all my limbs (and sometimes my torso)no matter what position I sleep in (back/side/front)(my mattress is only 2yr old). I do have poor circulation in my legs and wear prescribed support stockings on a daily basis, but the bedtime numbness has got progressibly worse. It leaves my limbs with a strange feeling throughout the day. I'm considering on making a doc appointment - does anyone have any ideas?

Does this only occur at night? If you do any other activities does it cause any problems?
