Post Constant pain and numbness/tingling
right leg/poss heart attack

I am a 42 y/o woman. Have high blood
pressure, started smoking recently (due to
the stress of my divorce) and don't
exercise as I should. Am 5'3 and weigh
155lbs.
I was previously off of my meds, both
blood pressure and water pills for about a
week. During this time, I experienced the
pain/pressure of what I believe may have
been a heart attack, while sitting at the
computer. I felt it in the center of my
chest, then slightly to the left side. I
then felt nauseas, dizzy, began sweating
with cold hands. I made my way to the bed
and laid down. The pressure/pain in my
chest came and went for about an hour
while I, basically waited to die. (Yes,
sad but true-post divorce and no medical
insurance) I just didn't know what else to
do and how foolish I would feel if I
called the Paramedics and found out it was
nothing.
Ever since then, my chest has felt fine
however, I now have constant pain and
numbness in my right leg. It hurts when
I'm sitting or standing. The pain travels
anywhere from the entire length of my leg
to just the back of my thigh, but seems to
constantly hurt around my ankle. Sometimes
it's just the pain, other times it's pain
and numbness, still other times it's pain,
then numbness. One day it was so bad, it
made bending over to sit on the toilet
almost impossible.
The pain almost feels like a pulled muscle
sort of feeling but it's constant. The
numbness feels the same as when you sit
"Indian Style" for too long and you get
that tingling feeling in your legs when
you try to get up, know what I mean?
Instead of going away however, it is
constant.
