A while back in late July, I went to the lake with my friend and her mom. We were there most the day. Little did I know that my sunblock was both expired and not high enough spf, so I got a bad sunburn.

It's gone now, but now, mostly in my left shoulder blade and some of my right shoulder blade, there's a tingling sensation that starts up once in a while, up to 2 or 3 times a day. to the touch, it feels warmer than the other parts of my skin, and sometimes it feels slightly numb. And these sensations havent surfaced until about late August.

Is this caused by my sunburn, or some other cause. I'm just curious as to how this keeps happening. All answers will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to go see your PCP, family doctor or GP that you use regularly.

It could be that you are still suffering from some surface nerve burn on your skin and it could be something else is going on and it's just a coincidence that it followed the sunburn.

Thanks for that Fran, I appreciate it. I plan on making an appointment soon, because my father is also concerned on why this may be.
