HI!!
i had an inguinal hernia op yesterday,
all in all dont feel too bad this morning except for every time i drink or eat something i "hiccup" which i can dispose of by pinching the nose while drinking water ect...
i wonder if this is a post operation thing, being that i had general anaesthetic.
i was feeling sick quite a lot when waking up after the op.
i also have numbness around the operated area, will this go away in time.
thanks .
danny.

It's possible a nerve got damaged during the process, also it could be a temp situation. It might be some of the smaller nerves that are being affected.
If it doesn't get better contact your doctor.
