numb wrinkled skin after hip surgery

Update: My dermatologist prescribed a fluociconide cream that, applied twice daily for a month, has cured this condition, although the numbness persists. I think that was not related to the skin condition and is probably the result of skin nerves severed during the surgery 7 months ago. The area now seems to be slowly regaining normal sensitivity.
