Q: Numb left hand

For some reason today, my left hand started to feel numb, I was able to feel light touch, but it felt lightly numb. Then my hand started hurting, like an ache. My heart rate was going up because I was freaking out about caffine. The numbness started going up my arm and it started hurting. However, the more I read about caffine, I knew I was in no danger and the pain and numbness went away from my arm. My hand is still numb though and I feel the ache in waves almost.

Any idea what this is?

I don't have enough money to go to the doctor.

Thanks.

panic
When you have a panic attack or even just anxiety the brain releases norepinephrine. This chemical is a vasoconstrictor, therefore blood wont flow to your extremities. For some reason unknown to me it is common on the left side of the body. Hence why many people think panic attacks are heart attacks ie tingling in the left arm. Hope your feeling better
