Bear with me, a little long. I am late 30's female.

About 5 months (April) ago I started to get bad pain in my shoulder and neck. Really unbearable, and some pain going down to my hands on my left side. I thought it might be due to a bad tooth as one I had root canaled a few years before was bothering me. I took a course of amoxicillin and felt better for a bit.

Not long after I got a horrid rash, I thought it was from the antibiotics, but because I am a preschool teacher, I went to the dr. and he said it was scabies. The rash took a couple weeks to go away completely. I was freaking out. I then got a yeast infection, which I presumed to be from the antibiotics as well. Then all the pain in neck and shoulder and clavicle area returned, as well as my lower back.

I went to my GP who proceeded to give me anxiety meds and recommend allergy pills. I also had some large bumps left from the rash. I never really felt any better.

I went to the dentist for regular check up in June, and had a deep teeth cleaning. They also found 7 cavities. (I have only had about 4 in the last 20 years before this) I told them I believed the tooth that had been root canaled and crowned was feeling wierd and after xray they said it was infected and needed to come out.

At this point I had head pressure and odd tingling feelings in forehead, temple area, and so forth. But because I have a lesion in my brainstem since 2005 dxed byt MRI which I have monitored every 3-6 months. When I have headaches or pressure I always assume it has to do with that.

So neck and shoulder and arm aches continue. I got the tooth pulled on August 17. Healing was going fine, but I felt like my bite was now off (my wisdom teeth were out in teens, this is the second to last tooth in the back on the left). I went to surgeon and he said it looked fine, (my sinus had been preferated during the extraction.) Now my upper back tooth is numb, my neck and shoulder and back hurt as well as my throat on occasion (worst when waking up). My jaw on left is clicking, not all the time, but sometimes and my back teeth are not matching up.

I had 2 mri's as I was worried about sinus infection or tumor, but apparently sinus looks fine and I have no congestion anyway or runny nose, etc.

I do not think I grind my teeth, but I have been VERY stressed for the last few months and have not felt ok at all during this time. My GP thinks throwing me xanax and flexeril will make me go away.

The neuro on call in the ER at my last MRI mentioned TMJ without me asking. Could tmj cause numb feeling teeth? I know the neck and back and arm pain could be symptoms for sure, but what about my bit and the numbness, I appreciate any and all comments!!

By the way, I have had lupus/Sjogren's thrown around by the GP and ENT, as I have dry eyes, dry mouth, frequent yeast infections, and so forth. I can deal with whatever it is, I just do not want to overlook anything like cancer or something like that. After you are dxed with a brain tumor nothing is too surprising. I am a fell time teacher of five year olds, so I need to be on my toes at work.

Wow..I am going through the same thing right now. About 4 weeks ago I started getting a horrible pain on the left side of my neck that radiated down my arm into the elbow. About a week or so after that I started to get a horrible toothache with my upper tooth on the left. The exact same one as you got removed. I am also experiencing a weird numbness of sorts on the left side of my face. I went to the dentist last week and he said that there was an abscess forming in the root, so he gave me antibiotics and told me to come back today and he will just pull the tooth out. Will fill you in on how things are afterwards
