I'm 28 weeks pregnant and noticed a black bump on my labia majora and also have some swelling in lower part of same labia. I'm worried about cancer. what are some possible explainations? I've also noticed over past year some nail changes-they don't all grow straight anymore--don't know if it's totally unrelated or not?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Swollen labia and bump could be attributed to pregnancy changes. The nail deformity can be due to anemia or essential nutrient deficiency. Discuss about these with your gynecologist/doctor. For the labial symptoms, you will require examination, blood pressure check, urine test done by your gynecologist/obstetrician to be able to come to exact diagnosis. Maintain high protein diet, drink plenty of water.
Take care.
