Q: not typicsl Hemorrhoid symptoms ?

Hello all, just joined this very informative forum.

I recently noticed a small bean sized grayish/blue lump just outside of my anus. It does not hurt nor has it bled once, howver, is quite itchy. I have a doc's appointment in a few days but does anyone have a clue as to what this can be? Does not have the typical symptoms of an external hemmoroid (bleed or pain). Can it still be that or maybe something else?

Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Hemmoroids can be painful, however they can also be itchy. Sounds like a hemmoroid to me (which is only a vericose vein of the anus)

Exactly how mine started
No pain whatsoever - mine has however become painful as I am now heavily pregnant. my sis had this too and after doc gave cream it went - you have discovered it in time before it gets painful. Good luck

Swab witch hazel on the area whenever it is irritating you. It's really cheap-found near where peroxide is sold.

I agree with Marianne0058,

I can guarantee you that it is a hemmoroid. They are two kinds, Inner Hemmoroids and Outer Hemmoroids. You have the outer. They also do bleed from time to time so don't panic if you see blood.
