Q: Not seeing results

I'm having a lot of trouble getting in shape and no one is giving me any advice. I have a feeling it's because I'm doing everything right.... see I'm not overweight and I'm not really concerned with weight but I'm desperately trying to lose my belly fat I don't look good in clothes and I would rather die than be seen in a bikini. I work out for an hour EVERY single day for the past month. This includes running, doing the stair stepper, and various ab exercises from wii fit, cosmo, and the internet, I also quit drinking alcohol and soda, and quit eating candy (which I did on a daily basis before) and started to drink 8 glasses of water a day. when all of this was seemingly useless I added a combination detox/grapefruit diet which in a nut shell is low fat, high fiber, and low calorie with lots of grapefruit (which supposedly breaks down fats and boosts metabolism) and I continued to exercise daily so far this is day five of the diet and I'm not pleased with my results ( or lack thereof) Is there any advice at all? do I need to be taking vitamins or supplements of any kind? or are there any particularly effective diets or exercises anyone knows of? thanks a bunch everyone

You just need to stick with it ... its a time thing. If you stick with it you WILL loose weight even if its only 2lb a week thats a good start just be patient.

might possibly help
Hey there,
I agree with wd above, you just have to stick with it but one thing I wanted to mention really helped me when i was almost ready to give up is to start your day off with protein (keeps you full and more energetic quite a bit longer than anything else) maybe 3 egg whites? and to cut out anything with too much fat per serving for a couple weeks. I know that even healthy fat is good but definately no nuts, anything fried and cut out dippings as they have a whole bunch of fat that's super easy to overindulge in. Hope that helped! (ps: anything with less than about 5 grams of fat per serving is pretty good)
