Severe Periods

Hey,

I think you could be suffering from severe menses or endometriosis. I used to have big blood clots and severe pain but just wrote it down to being unlucky in the menses. I would make an appointment with a gynae to be sure and I would also take up some form of daily exercise as this worked for me.

Hope you recover soon

God Bless.

IF YOU HAVE ENDOMETRIOSIS DON'T LET THEM DO A HYSTERECTOMY TRY THE BIRTH CONTROL FIRST AND HOPEFULLY THAT WILL HELP. IF IT DOESN'T THERE IS ANOTHER PROCEDURE THAT THEY CAN BURN THE INSIDE OF THE UTERUS I FORGOT THE NAME BUT THE DOCTORS SHOULD KNOW IF THEY DON'T ASK ANOTHER DOCTOR. DON'T LET THEM CONVIENCE YOU OF A HYSTERECTOMY IF THE PILLS DON'T WORK I PRAY THAT THEY WILL WORK FOR YOU.

Endometriosis is scar tissue that is not only on your uterus, it is in the surrounding tissues as well.

The 'burning' procedure you are talking about is an endometrial ablation - it is used for UTERINE FIBROIDS not endometriosis. Additionally, birth control pills are used to prevent bleeding with your periods. Another thing that is caused by fibroids.

These measures don't generally help with endometriosis. But they do help with fibroids which it sounds like you may have.
The birth control pills will totally help (I know. I took them for fibroids. Worked like a charm!)

I was severely bleeding and clotting for several months following a miscarriage. the Dr. put me on high doses of birth control pills. I had a pedunculated fibroid tumor and it BURST IN UTERO. I had 4 units of blood transfused and a partial hysterectomy. Birth control pills have a long history of breast cancer, clotting aneurisms, etc. read the package inserts. 12 years later I am still hormonally suffering. Find another Dr. there are many of them out there.
