First Trimester of Pregnancy Answer A11799
Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. Foetal movements feel like the fluttering of a bird in the initial months—in the first pregnancy its felt in the 5thmonth--18to 20 weeks gestation. Initially the movements are very gentle --you may just feel a light kick or a fluttering movement. Gradually, the movements increase both in frequency as well as intensity. The movements should appear anytime now. You can travel safely at this time of the pregnancy if you don’t have any other medical problems.

I sincerely hope this information helps. Take care.
