Prunes
I would go and get some Prunes. (Sunsweet is a pretty good brand) Try it and see if it helps. Good luck!

How long did she take the powder?

It generally takes 3 - 4 days to get a bowel movement after taking a prescription laxative.

Has she tried Miralax which can be obtained over the counter or Glycolax (prescription)...the latter is a generic form of Miralax and cost less, lots less. Either of one these can be taken long term.

I take a dose every 1-2 days...been doing so for years.

If she still can't poo...she may be impacted and will need her doctors help in getting relief....

Another thought...has she tried Magnesium Citrate? One bottle will generally work within a hour...may cause cramping as it works it's way through....
