I am only 18 but I am beginning to wonder if there is something wrong with me and that is the reason I have not gotten pregnant yet. I graduated high school and am almost done with the technical school i am currently attending. I will graduate from there in december. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years now and in the last 6 months we have stopped using protection. I know it can take up to a year to conceive but its already been 6 months and im starting to get worried. We are not exactly ttc but if it happened we have discussed it and would both be happy. My periods have always been regular but i was on bc 3 different times i think between the time I was 16 and 17. Each time I came off the bc my period went back to normal. However the last time i stopped bc was in march and my cycle went back to normal. But in the past couple of months it has started being anywhere from 29 to 37 days. So I'm not sure if something is wrong with me or what. Does anyone have any advice?

IM 26 and i had my first child at 22. However i started having sex at 15. it took me that long to get pregnant. Because the timing wasnt right. It all depends on timing. you may be too young yet and not really want a child or you may want one so much that you are stressing yourself out. trust me you wont get pregnant if you are stressing about it! so, my advice, although im not a doctor is that you are fine and you will have a child when you least expect it. By the way, my period lasts anywhere from 28-35 days and i am healthy.

I actually went to the doc in December because I had not had my period in about 3 or 4 months and my gyn told me that it will prob. be difficult for me to conceive on my own since I am overweight. She said I prob. had something like pcos but she wants me to come back and she said she will do some test on me and prob. give me some med to help me ovulate. So idk I had a bad feeling all along and now I guess I was right. I just hope one day I can conceive.
