EUSTACHIAN TUBE DISCHARGE or Blockage Blow out?

I had a large bloody thick dried mucus or possibly a membrane piece fall out of my Eustachian tube last night! Yuk!

I had been having radiating pain from my ear up to my head and down my neck - even into my back, along with sinus swelling on the right side, for 3 days. I knew it was in my eustachian tube, I had had this before, but this time it felt different. I could massage my neck on the right side, near the glands/lymphnodes, and feel swelling and pain too, so I suspected an infection.

I kept using 4 way spray as directed and taking Ibuprofen and Sudafed to reduse the symptoms. Last night, when "sucking snot" (inhale thru nose sharply to clear nasal mucus) - a glob of something LARGE fell out of the back of my throat, (for lack of better description- tho it probably came out of my Etube, it DID feel like it just appeared in my throat- I did not feel it traveling form in my nose like the mucus I usually feel clearing in the nose when doing this- that is for sure), and it dropped into my windpipe opening as I inhaled. I coughed reflexively to clear my pipe and the 'gunk' was coughed out into my hand. It was creepy. It was long and thick, at first it looked like a piece of "ME" but it probably was just mucus...maybe formed in the shape of the etube due to being lodged there for 3 days. And my pain and discomfort in my ear and e tube is now gone.
