My son 21 yrs old still has nose bleeds. He had them when he was young too. His nose had been carturized by a ear nose throat DR. . My regular physicians nurse told me her son had alot of nose bleeds too. She told me to put alittle bit of potroleum jelly/vasoline/ up his nose this will keep it moist. The reason for nose bleeds his nose is dry inside. I hope tis helps.

my ten year old son has always had nose bleeds but only about 10 -15 times a year and they go away quicker as he gets older. I have attributed this to dryness in the house or elsewhere. It is always better with a humidifier in his bedroom that shoots out cool air during the night . Your son is young though so if that doesn't work keep on the doctors and don't give up - you are never wrong when it comes to your sons health. Go with your gut and find a new doctor if you are worried.
