Q: Nose bleed treatment ?

my two year old has had two nose bleeds in the last two weeks
Once when playing after eating and the other we noticed in the morning after his evening sleep.
They were heavy for about 2 - 3 minutes then stopped.
I first leant him backwards but looked up online that you should hold them forwards.

What is the correct method and is the a simple reason for them. It is cold at present so we heat his bedroom at a low temperature then ensure it is not warm , if so we open the door and turn the heat down.

Not sure if we should worry.

Please help

Regards

I live in the south so we don't really get the cold weather that some do. But every time I go somewhere cold I get a nose bleed. I think that is because it is so dry in the winter. I don't know what kind of heat you have but if it is steam, your house is probably really dry, try using a humidifier. I find that if I have a humidifier I don't get the nose bleeds.

I don't know if this helps but it just a suggestion.
