Q: Normal periods
asked by: DoctorQuestion on May 20th, 2008
I keep track of my cycle diligently. My cycles is about 25-27 days with my period lasting 7 days. My last period started 3 days late which started off normal but then became a very light flow, no pad or tampon needed. Then it ended 2 days early. I know stress can be a factor but I've never had a period less than 7 days long. Should I be concerned?

You shouldn’t be concerned. A normal period can last from 3 to 7 days.
