Menstruation Answer A7152

Menstrual cycle length and menstrual period length might vary a lot in different women. 21 to 35 days menstrual cycle length is considered within normal variations. Also, the blood quantity lost during the menstrual period might vary from spotting to heavy bleeding. The color might be light pink, red or brown.

As you can see, the symptoms you reported (35 days menstrual cycle length and few drops of bleeding without pain) might be considered quite normal.

However, you might want to visit a gynecologist because these changes occurred before 3 to 4 months and were not present before. The doctor might need a physical examination and laboratory hormonal tests which might reveal recent hormonal changes that are responsible for the altered menstrual periods.
