Okay so i had my son five months ago, my first ......i had a pretty bad pregnancy always getting sick and then a horrible labor of 26 hours.....first 11 where natural but because my son was breaking my tail bone every time i had a contraction...i asked for an epidural.....things seems fine till my midwife discovered i had an infection in my uterus.....I was put on an IV and things seemed to take for forever but went well.....right until i had my son.....when my mid-wife was trying to to birth my placenta my uterus flipped inside out and then fell out of me.
(inverted Uterus)
At this point i was in to much shock to remember much... all i can remember is a doctor running in taking my uterus and punching it back into me.....i felt this horrible pain and begged him to stop....thankfully he didn’t listen to me....over a period of 6 days i was stuck in a hospital with an infection that would drag on and off....finally they released me to go home with my son who GREAT FULLY was HEALTHY AS CAN BE........Five months later I went to the doctor and was told i could have a possible Infection in my uterus still because according to my midwife i had a soft and tender uterus so she gave me
Doxcycline hyclate. Which caused me to break out in fever and my bleeding became worse...so i went to the ER the other day to find out i that know one can tell me whats wrong or tell me why i'm bleeding....i wasted 6 hours to find out nothing I'm so frustrated and i have no i idea what to do now....Note i am really bleeding NOT SPOTTING for the past five months EVERY DAY since i had my son..... Another note which i'm told is normal after having a baby i had a pap smear and i was told my result came back abnormal...could this be a connection and is there anyone out there going through anything like this???? Does anyone have an IDEA????

Get to a specialist
Hi and welcome to ehealth:

Get to a specialist...I would not fool around with this anymore...Either see a OB-GYN or an Internal Medicine doctor who will get you to the right person....What you are speaking about is not normal...You are wearing down and becoming anemic.....The people at the ER cannot tell you anything until you get to a doctor who will perform tests and look into this further....

Please do not put this off....This could get very serious...

Take care,
Caroline
