Are they anything to worry about? I also got told i have a 27mm cyst on my right overy but as iv'e had a hysterectomy do i need to worry about that and does that need further investigation? I'm sorry to be such a nuisence but these results have been worrying me a bit but i'm too scared to go to my gp in case he thinks i'm being silly

Lungs and Respiratory Disorders Answer A5746

Diagnosis that has been suggested: 2 nodules on the right lung measuring 7.5mm and 11.5mm. One nodule on the left lung measuring 9.5mm all with homogenous structure non calcified and have slightly irregular but well circumscribed margins

Both the nodules and the ovarian cyst should be explored further.
You might want to tell your doctor about the results of the CT scan. He might refer you to a specialist for internal disease for a lung biopsy. The biopsy might be via bronchoscopy or the needle might be inserted with the help of ultrasound. The results will show the true nature of the nodules and would determine the needed treatment.
You might want to visit your gynecologist for the ovarian cyst. It might be caused by a hormonal imbalance. Your doctor might decide to give you medications or wait to see if the cyst would change.
