i haven't gotten my period for 7 months already Question
i had irregular periods until November 2008 was my last time i got my period!
i did do a home pregnancy test and it was negative.
so ever since that i never got checked again.
so its still weird not to get a belly or my period.
i know I'm not stress, Maybe I'm overweight?
but still i have seen people way bigger and they still manage to get their periods.
so please give me some information! useful!

Extremely eHealthy
Women with absent menstrual period for few months, usually nine months, and a history of irregular menstrual bleeding, are often defined like women experiencing a secondary (there is an underlying condition) amenorrhoea (lack of menstrual bleeding).
In most of the cases of secondary amenorrhoea, the cause is hormonal imbalance due to Polycystic ovary syndrome, Androgen producing tumor, Thyroid dysfunction, Hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction (including obesity), Hyperprolactinemia, Hemochromatosis, Intrauterine adhesion, premature menopause, or a side effect of BC pills, or it appears after their discontinuation.
It is well known that weight reduction in obese women for only 10% of their body weight, can lead to menstrual period regulation.

Start with losing weight and see your gynecologist!
Best wishes!
Marija

I'm sure you are going to be ok. I would advise you to make an appointment with your OB/GYN so they can do an ultrasound and check to make sure nothing serious is going on. It's not normal to just stop your period unless you are pregnant or entering menopause.

I would make an appointment with the gynecologist right away. This has been going on too long.

I didn't say it is one or the other, but it's really only normal for your period to stop during those times. That is why you need to get checked.
