When I first started Loestrin, I didn't have a period at all. No cramps or spotting, either. After a few months it came back, though.

I'm not sure if this applies to you, but I didn't take the placebo pills for a couple of months while I was on Loestrin 24. My roommates doctor told her she didn't have to take them, so I didn't either! Turns out, that is what caused me not to have a period. I thought I was pregnant! I couldn't understand because I never miss a pill!

Anyway if this by some chance applies to you, try taking the placebo pills again.

I have been on this birth control for a couple years now and I havent had a period in about 8 months. I talked to my doc and she said its normal for about 20% who are on this pill to stop having a period while on it.
