Q: no period on birth control ?

Hello, Is it possible to be on birth control and not have a period? And how long can your period be late during the week that you don't take birth control for your period? Im asking because my girlfriend is a little worried and im trying to find her some peace of mind that she isn't pregnant. Because shes been on the pill for about 4 months. We only didn't use a condom about 3 times in the last 2 weeks but i used the withdraw method and didn't ejaculate in her. I know theres always a chance but its very small because shes on birth control. Can anyone tell me something that will give her peace at mind?

Yeah, that's possible. What kind of pill is she taking? Has she just recently started missing periods?

Has she taken a pregnancy test? I'd think that seeing a negative on the test would be more of a relief than anything we could say. Smile

im not sure what pill shes on, i just knows its the one that makes yours periods lighter. And shes not really late yet... her last pill was saturday the 25th and suppose to start her period sunday the 26th but it never comes the first day. I said if it doesnt come by friday the 31st id take a hpt saturday morning.
