Q: No period, negative hpt

Hi,

I am 26 yr old female married for an year. After marriage my periods became irregular. We have recently started trying for our first child. My LMP was 16 May 09. I havent had periods for june. I have period like lower back ache but no period. I am also have sore boobs. On 22nd june i tested with HPT from dollar store. It showed negative. Please suggest. Are HPTs from dollar store accurate? Did i test too early? On an average when are hpts expected to determine pregnancy ?

I tested with the one dollar test from dollar general and mine came out positive. took a min but it did. If your hormones are low it won't show up and sometimes hormones are low even after u miss a period and dont show up on test. I would go get a blood test done by doctor!
