Q: No period for 16 weeks

Hi I was on depo for 2 years ans should have had it again on the 7 th May 2009 but didnt go back for it again, I still havent got my period back i went to the doctors and they run a full work of bloods all came back good but i have very high iron levels, will that stop me from having my period.

i m not sure about the iron levels. but you just got off the depo so you could either bleed a lot of have no menstrual.
you doctors gave you a full blood work, but they should know that it takes the body a while to get back to the swing of things after getting off the depo.
this is the side effect of this birth control. you may have to wait until this drug is completely out of your body.
