Hi i was on depo for over 2 years with no period when on it i should have had it again on the 7th may this yr but didnt so now on the pill and still have NO period, but i have cramps that come and go and now my face is braking out, Sorry should have said iv been off the depo for 13 weeks now, so i would like to know is this my period coming back. I know it takes along time for the depo to go out of the body, so pls can u help me thank u for ur time to read this...

It could be. There's really nothing you can do but wait and see. I was on Depo and it took 7 months from my last shot for my periods to return.

You could ask your doctor to check for pregnancy. If negative she can give you a round of Provera 10mg for ten days to induce a period. If you are having acne issues and irregular cycles I suggest Yasmin or Yaz but I would ask for a few labs to check for PCOS. PCOS can cause acne, fat in the mid section, abnormal black hair growth and very oily scalp and face due to increased levels of testosterone.
