Normally my period is right on time.. it all started about 2 or 3 months ago, I missed the first period over 6 weeks then all of a sudden I got a brown spotting that occurred (which i was always told that it was an "old period") and then the next day I had some normal spotting, then it went away for a while and it goes off and on and I don't have a clue what is going on. about every week I get at least one day of spotting sometimes it does occur after intercourse but not everytime. At first i thought it was my period but now after this long I'm pretty sure its not. I'm now almost 22 years of age, every 4 weeks i use to get a period, after the 6 weeks of missing the first period i did take a pregnancy test, that came back negative. I do a lot of pain where my left ovary is too. I'm just hoping i can get some answers on here please!

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Your symptoms can be indicative of PCOD,endometriosis,Pelvic disease etc due to hormonal imbalance.Such irregular periods can cause fertility issues in the long term.
Consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation and get the appropriate treatment.
