My boyfriend came into town about less than two weeks ago so i skipped over my period when he was in town. I did get some spotting here and there but nothing to complain about. It only lasted a couple of hours. Well we didnt use any other form of protection and he rarely pulled out. Now I am suppose to be on my period and havent started yet. Is it possible I could be pregnant? or is it because my body needs to re adjust to having a period? I never missed a day, have been on it for over a year but harldy ever take it at the same time each day..Any responses will help..

I assume you took active birth control pills to prevent your period?

If so, you are not pregnant. Just continue to take your pills as directed. The hormone levels will stabilize again. Make sure you follow the instructions for skipping your period for your type of pill!

You might not get your withdrawal bleed because of the way you messed with your pill pack. You body might be a little out-of-wack from all the hormones, and it just needs time to readjust.
