i had a c section 12 weeks ago had a normal period but now i am a week late did a preg test ond is neg mhat is going on

Hi,
Welcome back to ehealthforum,
If you are exclusively breastfeeding your baby, possibility of lactation amenorrhea cannot be ruled out. Lactation amenorrhea prevents egg release from ovary, hence during this time you will be protected against pregnancy. You can go ahead with a thorough evaluation done by your gynecologist if you still suspect to be pregnant.
