Angelbaby, this is normal when you start. Your body is undergoing many changes and trying to find its natural cycles. You have wild hormonal swings (ask your mom, I am sure she can tell you how that affects your mood 
). Your cycles can be irregular for a few years until your hormones get in balance and your body adjusts to it.
When you use tampons, you should make sure that you flow enough to use tampons and change them as directed. For very light flow, spotting or at night you should use pads. This will prevent the tampons from drying out your vagina and possibly cause problems or you having the tampon in too long at night.

hello i am 13 just got my period about 3 days ago and i cant see to get the tampon in and its very like uhhh and annoying and kind of confusing but it doesnt seem to fit
