So, here goes. I am 28 years old married to my 2nd husband 1 and 1/2 years. I have son from previous marriage. He has 18 yr. old daughter so we both know we can have kids. I was on depo a while. Got off in November 2004. We have been trying since Feb. 2005. Went to OB/GYN because wasn't getting a period. Put me on YAZ to straighten out my cycles. 28 day cycle continuously for 8 months. Stopped BC in March because insurance changed. Got cycle in April normal. Got cycle May 27 (6 days late) was due May 21st. Refigured cycle to 34 length. Due again on June 30th. Nothing. Tested with HPT yesterday (7/6/0Cool real simple test a or - one. The - sign did not even show up. So does that mean a defective test. Should I wait another week? Should I call the doctor?

Signs: Light cramping in abdomen nothing major. Itchy boobs including the nipples. Butterfly like feelings. Nausea around certain smells (cig. smoke) little headaches.

It sounds like the test could have been defective. It wouldn't hurt to try another or just wait another week. If you are pregnant and your last period was May 27th you would be around 6 weeks pregnant and the test should show it. You can always make an appt. with your dr. for a blood test to confirm anything.

I'd go see the doctor if I wanted to be pregnant and had been trying for so long.
