Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

If you have been breast feeding the child then it is normal not to have periods. It is due to the hormonal changes going in the body and ovulation does not occur. This is known as Lactational Amennorhoea.
Many woman who exclusively breast feed the child do not have periods for months. But while having intercourse consider using protection as many woman do conceive even if they do not have periods.
Hope this helps!
