Q: no menstrual period, Pregnancy test negative

i am not having periods from the last 3 months. i did the urine test but it shows a negative result. i consulted the doctor. he gave me Norethindrone acetate tablets USP.. why he gave that? what is the purpose? any side effects? i am really tensed.... Sad

Hi there! I just would like to let you know that we have the same situation. But I had 5 pregnancy tests done and all came out negative. My nurse friend gave me provera and I am still waiting for my period to come. I hope we can find the answer here.
