i switched birth control pills last month and only have 4 pills left to take in that first pack of the new ones. i didn't know, but i was supposed to start the new pills on the first day my period. the pills i was on before, i had my period at the end of the pack, so i had finished my period and started the new pills on the first day after my period when i was supposed to start them on the first day of my period. i had lots of unprotected sex, so i'm just wondering if i could be pregnant since i started the pills on the wrong day?

Simply...no.

If you've been taking the pills on time and taking all of (of this new pack), you should be just fine.

What brand are you using that asks you to start on the first day of your period??

Could i be pregnant?
i am on ortho tri cyclen now. i was taking tri sprintec, but they switched me and i just realized today that i might have a problem since i started the new ones the day after my period when i was supposed to take them within the first 24 hours of my period. i talked to a pharmisist and all he would tell me is that my chances of gettting pregnant were just greater since i started the new pills at the wrong time
