I couldn't get my prescription filled in time and missed this past month on the Nuva ring. Well if I had been on the NuvaRing I would have taken it out this past sunday. I still haven't gotten my period. This would normally be the week I would get it, and still nothing.

1.) Is this normal?
2.) Should I put my new NuvaRing in this sunday (when I normally would if I hadn't missed the month) or wait till my period starts and put it in the sunday after that?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
You should insert it after getting your periods to make sure it has and gives you maximum protection. If the periods do not start even after 10 days of the expected date, then consider getting an evaluation done by a gynecologist to find the underlying cause for your absent periods and take steps to get it corrected.
Take care.
