negative pg tests
I have a question. I had a tubal done 8 years ago and two years ago
Got diagnosed with pcos. My periods are usually extremely heavy and last
Anywhere between 10-14 days. In Dec 2011 I was 1 1/2 weeks late and
and when I did start it was very light almost a spotting and only lasted two
Days. Two days later after having intercourse I spotted again but then stopped
Its now Jan and still no period. Tonight I noticed I was having a little white discharge
I dont have cramps but more like a pressure feeling in my lower abdomen. Plus
Weird flutters in ny lower abdomen too. Does anyone know what could possibly
Be going on with me?

My last period was Dec. 25th. I have really bad bloating, and alot of pressure in my lower abdomen as well. I have felt like my period will start anytime for three weeks now. I called my doctors office and they have run a preg. test. Have not gotten the results yet. I doubt i am preg., the doc. says i could be started early menopause. I had my tubal done seven yrs ago. For about a yr. now things have been really abnormal with my cycles. Let you know what doc says when i find out.

Please do your homework on Tubal Ligations before you get one.
I had a Tubal Ligation in 1999 at the age of 37. My 2nd husband had 3 grown kids and I had a 9 year old daughter. We were newlyweds, and I felt like since his kids were grown and starting college that he didn't want anymore kids. Seeing as together We already had 4, I thought A tubal ligation was my best option, but ladies, I regret it everyday of my life. I thought it was easily reversible. HA! I Was so uninformed. We love each other so much and if we had have decided to have a baby back then, not only would we have a child that was BOTH of ours, but it would be a teenager now. Imediatly after the surgery, I went through the most terrible panic attacks and depression that I have ever experienced. I mean I stayed at my Moms house curled up next to her. I would not let my husband go to work. I was afraid of dying, killing myself or someone else, afraid to get out of the house, and afraid not to. I was seriously ill.
I am an entertainer and had to sing in front of audiences on stage, I am not sure how I got through all this. But it was the most debilitating experience of my life, and this went on for 4 months straight everyday. I told my doctor and he thought I was crazy. He dismissed it, like it was nothing at all. I never had a period after my tubal Ligation. I think I had 1 brief episode of light spotting and then nothing! So I went through early menopause because of this operation.
Years later, I am now 51 and I thought because of my early onset menopause that at least I would not have to experience these symptoms again. Well I am glad to say the panic attacks have never returned, but guess what..... It's not over..... I am having mood swings, night sweats, and severe depression and weight gain. I care nothing about romance. As a matter of fact, I don't care too much about anything. I can bearly make myself get out of bed. When I told my doctor about my apparent hormone imbalance, he reacted much the same way as he did about my, (now what I know as )Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. I am researching online to find out about this new HRT medicine that is suppose to help with my symptoms because I am not going down this road again. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you decide to get a Tubal Ligation, do your homework and research other options. I would not wish what happend to me on my worse enemy. I don't mean to scare you or be a Debbie downer, but don't do like I did and just think because a doctor is a good OBGYN, that HE will be the expert on other women's issues. I am not putting down these amazing doctors that bring beautiful babies into the world, ( mine was one of the top doctors in his field), but please don't be afraid to get a second opinion. And dog gone it ,ASK QUESTIONS and get ANSWERS! It's your body and your life. Don't screw it up. You only get one swing at it. God Bless you all.

I had my tubal ligation Jan. 2013 when they did my c-section for my 2nd son. I was already extremely over weight but healthy non the less. I breast feed/pumped for 2 months after my son was born so no period. On April 29 2013 I had to have a umbilical hernia removed/repaired as I had it before I knew I was pregnant & it got huge during the pregnancy & caused severe pain after I had my son. They did open surgery on my stomach to repair/remove the hernia & reconstruct my belly button as it had all popped out & was basically gone. One my 1st day of recovery I started bleeding & I thought "great time to have my 1st period after my tubal". It only last 2 days then gone. But I have had before that surgery & now after cramping pains like you know your period is coming any minute, severe lower back pains & horrible hip pains. Now I'm still over weight at 330 and at the biggest I've ever been. I eat small meals, no crap, tried diets nothing. I've had no period but all the sypmtoms. I haven't called the doctor yet concerned whether it's thyroid, PCOS or what I've been reading about Post Tubal Syndrome. If anyone can shed some light I'd appreciate it.
