Hi again my friend: I am an oddity in every sense of the word...This is a hereditary thing...My grandmother had none,..My Mother had none and my daughter has none...Yet the second girls in the families were OK...When you have this problem you have no strength in your knees...You cannot genuflect or get back up without help...Right now my left knee is about two inches bigger if you used a tape measure in in measuring it, than my right....You see I was born not being able to say that I can't...It was instead I can...So I golfed and just plain had a ball...Sometimes my knee would give out and I would fall, but so goes life...Now it has gotten really bad...The swelling stays and life has caught up on me...But it could be worse...My oldest son had three pieces of a kneecap and he had to have this operated on...He was in a lot of pain...They left the largest piece in...This was on his left knee as mine is on mine...My left knee is worse than my right...He was a jock...Takes after my husband...

I live in a lot of pain, but so goes life...I am still the happiest woman in the world...
