Woke up this morning with a terrible sickly stomach ache although i didnt vomit. I have just had my 7 day period break (This was very light and came quite late) from Microgynon 30 and started a new minipill yesterday called cerazette. I have sex with my boyfriend almost everyday for the past 2 months. Usually without a condom as im protected via my pill. Although i have stupidly been a bit leniant with the times of taking the pill and have once or twice taken it a few hours over the amount of time of protection. Could this be related to pregnancy? Or perhaps an ectopic pregnancy? I also had sex with my boyfriend this evening and when i got home found out that im only protected after the second day of taking the pill. Its my second day. Im not sure wether ill get away with it. Im considering the morning after pill to be extra safe however, ive heard it will make me slightly poorly and are too busy with work to be ill.
Help will be really appreciated. Thanks for listening.

Even during your 7 day break, you are protected from pregnancy. I'm not sure where you read/heard you aren't until your second day...

If you choose to take the morning after pill, you should read the directions and the side effects very carefully. There is a risk that your periods will be screwed up for 3 months after taking it. There are hundreds of questions about potential pregnancy after the use of plan b that could be easily answered by reading the instructions/side effects.

It is doubtful you are at risk of pregnancy if you have been taking your pills every day. A few hours late here or there is not that big of a deal.

If you want to double up on your protection, have your boyfriend wear condoms.

Take a pregnancy test if you feel you are pregnant.

how long have you been on your birth control??? cause i know alot of doctors recommend that you use an alternative form of contraceptive during the first 3 months of being on your pill. Also i know alot of people who have gotten pregnant while on the pill, me being one of them and if you start varying the time of day you take your pill it could reduce it's effectivness! if you continue getting the sick feeling i would see a doctor because if your not pregnant it could be something else!
